New composite materials based on carbon nanotubes. They have active research into composite materials based on carbon nanotubes and conjugated/electroactive polymers. In particular research is focused on enabling good wetting between polymer and nanotubes, such that nanotubes can be efficiently incorporated in polymer composite materials. Good wetting and efficient incorporation of nanotubes will enable fabrication of strong structures, thereby combining the optimum properties of both materials (nanotube and polymers).
