Company USA

Halloysite is a naturally occurring aluminosilicate member of the kaolin family that often exhibits a tubular structure. This tubular structure, when utilized to form polymeric composites, allows not only for the improvement of physical properties, but also may be used as a delivery device for active agents.

The company has developed surface modifications and treatments for halloysite nanotubes that result in nanocomposites with increased strength and modulus without sacrificing toughness. Mechanical data will be shared for the thermoplastics such as nylon and polypropylene as well for polymeric coatings such as acrylic polymers and epoxies. .
