Company Germany

Ceramic Coatings

The company manufacture protective and catalytic coatings that contain nanoparticles and can be simply applied by spraying or dipping. The protective coating prevents slagging and corrosion in waste incineration plants, blast furnaces and coal-fired power plants. Without the product, slags up to 50 cm thick accumulate on a plant´s heat exchange tubes within a few months and make high expense and costs for removal inevitable. The product  provides an excellent non-wetting behaviour to molten non-ferrous metal melts and protects equipment (e.g. moulds, ducts, ladels, transport and measuring containers or boiler tubes) from destruction, thus extending their service life and saving maintenance costs.

The highly porous catalytically active coating has an extremely large surface: its self-cleaning property is used for household ovens and cookers (, industrial ovens, flue-gas cleaning and chemical synthesis.

Filtration

Manufacture ceramic membrane filters containing and membrane filtration systems consisting of multiple filter modules. The filtration products can be used for drinking water purification, as beverage filters, for the separation of oil and water (e.g. on drilling platforms) and waste water treatment. For use in stationary and mobile small-scale sewage plants for water processing, the company provide Membrane Systems comprised of filter membranes coated with nanoparticles.
