Air purifier is designed for purification of air from harmful organic contaminations of household, industrial or biological
origin. Due to its high bactericidal activity, it can be used as a prophylactic of infectious and allergic diseases.

The device operation is based on photocatalytic oxidation of organic admixtures on the surface of nanocrystalline
titanium dioxide under ultraviolet irradiation. The device is able to annihilate any organic contaminations, including those
that cannot be destroyed by other purifying methods. Under the influence of the UV light, electrons and holes are born on
the surface of TiO2 particles. Electrons, interacting with oxygen of the air, produce active oxygen. Active oxygen oxidizes
organic compounds.
