Company are mainly active in the analytical and medical market. They develop, produce, and sell silicon-based chips/sensors for pH and pressure. Their have their own clean room facilities for wafer processing/chip manufacture and product assembly. Standard products are mainly on the pH market. Medical products are mainly on OEM basis.

1. The main feature of their sensors is that it has no glass (as compared to ordinary glass pH probes). Therefore, there is virtually no chance of breakage. Furthermore, the sensitive element they apply is relatively small (1 x 3 x 0.4 mm), which makes it a very light part.

Compared to the existing technology (glass probes) they still need to apply the reference electrode, which offsets in part the weight advantage and dimensional advantage. However, they have specialised in customised solutions, where mechanical design can add value to the sensor system.

2. The pH sensitive area of the chip is only 16 x 600 micron nm large. This is the area that has to be exposed to the medium in order to measure pH.
