[nanoPost] Hydrophilic polymers for pharmaceutical applications

My research interests include hydrophilic polymers for pharmaceutical applications, polymer-polymer interactions and blending, bio/muco-adhesive polymers and polymer colloids (micro- and nanoparticles). I also have an extensive experience in chemical modification of polysaccharides. I have published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, including 2 reviews and about 15 papers on polysaccharides (please see the list of selected publications below). Our laboratory is fully equipped for the modification and characterization of polysaccharides and their nanoparticles (Size- and zeta-potential measurements, FTIR, UV- and fluorescent spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, isothermal titration calorimetry), Texture analyser and also we have an access to centralised facilities such as NMR spectroscopy, and all kinds of electron microscopy (SEM, ESEM, TEM, AFM, etc).
