Company USA

The company is focused on creating novel, highly potent recombinant vaccines produced via cell culture. The company has developed three proprietary technology platforms.

1. Using its proprietary viru particle technology, the company build a structure similar to a virus except for the genetic material required for viral replication. Once injected into the body, the particles attach to cells and trigger an immune response sufficient enough to protect a person, if they are exposed to the virus.

The particles may have a number of advantages over traditional vaccines. Because they more closely match an individual viral strain, VLPs can trigger a more robust immune response. In addition, live virus is not needed to produce a vaccine. Rather, the company need only the genetic sequence of a virus to quickly create a vaccine against it. Because the particles do not contain viral nucleic acids (DNA or RNA), they cannot replicate, and therefore present no threat of infection to a person being vaccinated.

2. The company also has developed proprietary paucilamellar vesicles adjuvant technology to potentially enhance the potency and/or effective duration of a vaccine. An adjuvant is a substance added to a vaccine to boost the body's immune response.

3. The company ’s proprietary Nano Particles are vehicles that deliver a drug through the skin. This technology allows the company to reformulate a drug so that it can be administered as a lotion.
