molecularly imprinting polymers (MIP)
MIP are defined as the specific nano-sized cavities that have a "memory" of the shape and functional group positions of a template molecule. The MIP can selectively recognize the template molecule used in an imprinting process, even in the presence of compounds with structure and functionality similar to those of the template. These new polymeric systems have an affinity and a selectivity approaching those of antibody-antigen systems. MIPs are characterized by their high specificity, ease of preparation, and their thermal and chemical stability. 1. Analytic : solid phase extraction and HPLC, chiral separation The company develop custom made solid phase extraction materials targeted to an analyte, or group of related analytes of your choice. The company has a patent portfolio for licensing and partnering opportunities. Thier patents are new products based of molecularly imprinting polymers for analytical and diagnostic applications. Additionally, they are looking forward to build business partnerships for development of these nano- materials in other applications.
