The company is dedicated to develop a line of novel therapeutic modalities based on its proprietary technology: Ultrasound energy coupling to microbubbles generated near photothermally heated (targeted) nanoparticles.

The companys ' first expected application is to fight bacterial biofilms which develop on fixed implants, through microbubbles dynamics. Systemically administered antibiotics will penetrate through damaged biofilms and eradicate on-implant harmful bacteria such as MRSA or VRE.

The company plans to develop a new technology for safe and effective gas embolization cancer treatments based on halocarbon microcapsules and targeted nanoparticles. Additional potential applications of the technology include externally-energized drug delivery devices.
