Drug delivery company that specializes in the encapsulation of delicate drugs into biodegradable polymers. The advantages of their patented process is that it is solvent-free, is carried out at ambient temperatures, they can control the release of the molecule over time, and they are able to encapsulate molecules presented to us either in a solid or liquid form.

These mild processing conditions ensure that the structure (and activity) of molecules that are encapsulated are preserved. They are particularly interested in the perfume encapsulation collaboration technology because they have developed a capability to produce microparticles of polymer that encapsulate a molecule of choice (currently down to 5micron diameter, with plans to reduce particle size in the future). They have identified that opportunities exist within the cosmeceutical industry for this technology.
