Company UK

The company's short-medium term market place is composed of the
Replacing existing/conventional forensic dusting powders (market value US$1billion).

Applying SALDI-TOF-MS-MS technology to interrogate developed fingerprints in order to;

-Determine contact residues in latent prints
-Determine metabolites in latent prints
-Identify biomarkers in latent prints

Novel formulations of powders for identification of print donors

Based on hydrophobic silica nanoparticles

When embedded with certain contrast agents they also act as ionisation agents when the powdered prints are interrogated via a MALDI-TOF-MS system
