Stain-repellent coatings focusing on textiles, that should be transferable to different material surfaces.

A combination of a plasma deposition process with wet-chemical functionalization using fluorocarbons leads to stain-repellent and abrasion resistant coatings. Due to the ultrathin coatings (~50 nm
thickness) which can be applied to textiles, but also to different material surfaces, material properties are maintained, e.g. haptics.
Moreover, a low amount of raw materials is used.
