Company UK
We are interested in any opportunity to add value to our product. If we can  incorporate functional attributes to the fibre it can give us opportunities  in the market.

Traditional micro-encapsulates are unlikely to be applicable
to our fibre manufacturing process, as they tend to be too large or too  brittle. Our fibre is made by a solvent spinning process and is normally of  ~10 micron diameter. Nano-particles of different types therefore might be of  interest, in that they would be be small enough to be encorporated in the  fibre itself.

We believe "well-being" and "healthy" are important areas to associate with  our fibre. As pure cellulose we already have a significant comfort factor.

We are currently researching areas such as anti-bacterial, stain repellency and thermal control, although we have tended to work with topical fabric treatments. As a fibre manufacturer the attraction of add funcion to the fibre itself has great appeal.
