[nanoPost] X-ray imaging and image analysis

The facility offers the possibility to investigate all sample ranges, from several centimeters up to a few micro/nanometers. The facility contains a combination of instruments, unique in the world: the LINAC, the high-resolution X-ray CT system, the micro-CT Skyscan 1072 and the medical CT (Philips SR 5000). This offers a wide range of image resolutions, sample sizes and X-ray energies. Our sub-micron CT scanner is a state-of-the-art tomographic scanner, typically used for samples smaller than 4 mm, providing a resolution down to 1 µm.
