Its core competence is the selective modification of optical of glasses by the generation of metal nanoellipsoids inside the glass material. The product is laser technology that can be used to modify the optical properties of glasses by the formation, form modification and local arrangement of nano-ellipsoids in locally restricted one-, two- and even three-dimensional areas in the range between microns and submicrons within the glass objects.

The company develops and commercializes laser-based nanotechnologies especially for glass material which are applied for the manufacturing of nanotechnology products in four different business fields:
