The company has the ability to deposit high quality nano-structured and/or nano-scale coatings by vacuum deposition and plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition routes. The flexibility of our process means that we can create surfaces of complex composition and structure, and grade these characteristics at will. Our technology has been successfully adapted to coat inside tubular substrates as well as externally onto a variety of sizes and shapes, including the surfaces of powders. One recent contract required us to coat 94 million parts over a 18 month period, but we are also regularly required to treat “one-offs” for special or development purposes.
