Company UK UK company specialising in the development of easy-clean and antimicrobial coatings derived from nano chemical technology. We are at the leading edge of the development of hygienic coatings, creating tough, durable and more economical solutions for a wide variety of industries, including; medical, healthcare, food and drink, dairy, HVAC, rail, and many other sectors. We supply coatings with hi-tech performance but low-tech application, promoting a more hygienic environment.
Easy-Clean Coatings
The super-thin coatings (approx 5-12µm) are, dense, completely non-porous, tough and glass-like with active self-cleaning properties. The coatings are hydrophobic and oleophobic as well as being highly resistant to scratches, acids, organic solvents and other chemicals. These coatings can be applied to a variety of metal substrates including aluminium, stainless steel, brass, magnesium and ceramics as a permanent non-stick, easy-clean protective layer. Coating can be undertaken during manufacturing or in-situ for aftermarket applications.
Anti-Microbial Coating Hygiene coating coating combines the benefits of the easy-to-clean properties derived from nano chemical technology with an antimicrobial additive, actively preventing the growth of bacteria such as Escherichia Coli and MRSA. A transparent coating with hydrophobic and oleophobic properties making the surface non-stick and stain resistant; fingerprints are less visible and easily removed. Effectively, the surface is easy to clean; dust, dirt and stains can be wiped away. The durable coating has high corrosion, abrasion and scratch resistance and is only 5-12 microns thick. The ultra thin, glossy coating is low maintenance and friendly to the environment; aggressive cleaning chemicals are not required. Effective cleaning and disinfectant procedures are critical for a good hygiene strategy and infection control. |
