Company Germany
The product is a highly dispersed titanium dioxide without pigment properties and an anatase/rutile ratio of approximately 80:20, manufactured according to the the company's process.
Thanks to its purity and fine particle size, it may be used as a catalyst support or as a heat stabilizer for silicone rubber. The size of its primary particles, which are in the nanometre range, sets it well aside from pigment types manufactured according to other processes. Generally speaking, the product has been found to be most efficient among of the main TiO2 photocatalyst types. Properties · Process related high purity · Heat stabilizing properties for silicone-elastomers through its effect on redox reactions Thereby: - Improvement of ageing properties at high temperature (= 200 °C) - Positive impact on flammability protection · UVA/UVB protection in cosmetics and sunscreen products · Free-flow in powder coatings · Heat stabilization of silicone elastomers · Optimization of adsorption properties, e.g. ink jet applications
