Company Japan

The company have a product that consists of titania nanoparticles with a diameter of 7 nm that carry silver ions on their surface. Thus, the photocatalytic effect is combined with the microbicidal activity of the silver ions.

The product proved highly efficient against a number of bacteria, including MRSA, Pseudomonas and Salmonella at concentrations of 100-200 µg/mL. Moreover, remarkable fungicidal activity was established as well as efficient degradation of influenza virus. The product is marketed to the end-user in the form of a spray.
