Our company has a long tradition in the field of high quality photographic films and today is very active in the field of photo quality ink-jet products.
Our activities in nanotechnology grew out of our business units concerned with the converting of synthetic materials, i.e. grinding & dispersion, extrusion systems and thermal processes for PET treatment and recycling, currently amounting to an annual revenue of EUR 150 million.
Specifically, our efforts focus on the multi-functionality of nano-scale polymers and composite materials, nano-functionality in cellulose based materials...
This research group specialises in natural fibres with particular emphasis on mechanical characterisation of interfaces in composite two-phase systems.
The current state-of-the-art technologies of super-finish polishing allow to achieve the roughness of ca 2 nm. The use of our polishers based on nanoparticles allow to reduce the roughness by a factor of 2 and reach the value of 0,9 nm.
These polishers are supplied in hydrophilic, hydrophobic and all-purpose forms
