[nanoPost] Dye-sensitized solar cell

Our laboratory produce a unique solar cell, which is dye-sensitized solar cell made by flexible thin light-weight plastic film. The flexible plastic film type dye-sensitized solar cell (PDSC) has been paid attention in the world from the view point of practical applications such as ubiquitous power sources. We will show one of the applications of PDSC, which is very different from those of conventional solar cell with glass substrate.

PDSC is prepared by using unique titania-coating paste, which can form mesoporous titania film by coating and drying at room temperature. These room temperature processes in preparing solar cell are very interesting.
