The centre has developed a novel encapsulation and controlled release technology in the form of micro and nano sized ceramic particles. The particles are formed by encapsulating the active ingredient into the matrix structure using sol-gel chemistry at ambient temperatures. These particles have application in the areas of drug delivery, home & household care, cosmeceuticals and food.
