By modifying the formulation we are able to change the properties of various substrates and thus add new function to it such as hydrophoby, durability, and slide capability. Ultra thin layers also show a perfect transparency, strong bonding forces and a comprehensive chemical stability. Those nano-scaled layers consist of polymerized SiO2-moleculs which are perfectly linked to each other by self organization and a geometrical orientation.

On the interface of those SiO2-moleculs we can observe quant-mechanical effects creating absolutely new properties. The bonding forces between varying substances are based on totally different forces and physical principles as opposed to the world of the macro cosmos.

The company utilizes those bonding forces in order to create protective layers on the surface of substrates which can withstand even high forces supplied i.e. by a high pressure cleaner. However, only the holistic understanding of those bonding forces enables us to develop ultra thin functional layers.
