Separation via ultrasonic atomization (SUA) is a novel separation process altered from conventional separation method such as distillation column.
This separation process dose not need heating, therefore it is energy saving process.

SUA is useful for separation processes as follows;

i) Bioethanol - water solution,

ii) Isopropanol - water solution,

iii) Volatile organic compounds such as hydrocarbon

iv) Heat sensitive compounds such as fragrances or perfumes.

Especially, this process does not use heating under normal temperature and pressure. Bio-products which are sensitive to heating are stably separated by SUA.

We will demonstrate an experimental apparatus of the separation via ultrasonic atomization.

This display is the result from one of the project in NEDO Grant for Practical Application of Industrial Technology .
